Job summary

AccorHotels in Dubai seeks a Director of Purchasing to lead procurement strategy and vendor selection across food & beverage, operating equipment and maintenance materials.

You will collaborate with department heads, negotiate contracts, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with brand standards and Accor’s Planet 21 sustainability goals. The role requires building strong supplier relationships and mentoring the purchasing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Minimum 58 years of purchasing experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role in the hospitality industry.
• Proven experience managing multi-department procurement in a 4- or 5-star hotel or resort environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage the hotel’s procurement strategy in alignment with Accor Groups purchasing standards and guidelines.
• Collaborate with department heads to understand operational requirements and provide procurement support.
• Negotiate supplier agreements, contracts and pricing to secure favorable terms while ensuring quality and compliance.
• Develop and enforce SOPs for purchasing and inventory management.
