Job summary

Standard Chartered in Dubai is seeking an Associate Manager - Governance Reconciliation (UAE National) to manage end-to-end mortgage and personal lending governance processes. You will coordinate property registrations, collateral tracking, and settlement, ensuring accuracy, compliance and robust controls across UAE operations.

The role requires effective stakeholder engagement with government offices and banks, strong documentation discipline and delivery of timely MIS reporting.

Qualifications

• Open to fresh graduates or candidates with limited experience; English/Arabic proficiency included.
• Experience in mortgage processing, loan servicing, banking operations or financial services is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mortgage liaison activities for property registration with authorities and banks in the UAE.
• Prepare, verify and coordinate documentation for property registrations and mortgage lending.
• Track collateral documents, custodianship and timely follow-up on documentation.
• Manage mortgage settlement activities and ensure robust controls.
• Maintain mortgage security docs in eSDS and ensure data integrity.
• Create security documentation trackers and Title Deed MIS reports for monitoring.
• Review process notes for compliance and operational effectiveness.
• Produce daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports as required.
• Engage with high-net-worth clients with professional, compliant communication.
