Job summary

Mashreq Bank in Dubai is seeking an Assistant Governance Manager to support the Director in Business Controls, Risk & Governance, and to help maintain a robust risk and governance framework.

You will investigate and manage issues, oversee governance controls, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to meet target turnaround times and quality standards. The role requires active involvement in audit readiness and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Supports the Director in Business Controls & Governance to manage robust risk and governance framework.
• Investigates and manages issues as required.
• Performs duties with respect to governance & controls per target TAT and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Track monthly MER and reporting deadlines.
• Prepare incentive payouts for mortgage team per plan.
• Manage broker payouts per contracts and ensure timely payments.
• Enter mortgage payments in vendor management system to ensure timely processing.
• Visit vendor offices to check calling activities, transmittals, Chubb records and clean desk policy adherence.
• Coordinate with CAM/Business on remediation and closure of CRS, FATCA, EID, KYC cases.
• Review CM requests/complaints and obtain approvals per ADM.
• Ensure SOPs, SLAs, and OPM documents are updated regularly.
• Report potential frauds to F&I for investigation.
• Conduct RCSA sample tests and follow up on exceptions.
• Raise incidents for ORE as required.
• Review CASA for KYC quality and other checks.
