Job summary

GEMS Legacy School - Dubai seeks a passionate Middle School Special Educator to join the Inclusion team. You will support students with additional learning needs through targeted interventions and collaboration with teachers, parents, and specialists to ensure every student can succeed.

Responsibilities include developing IEPs, differentiating instruction, and using data to guide interventions, while promoting wellbeing and inclusive practices across the school community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Inclusive Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in special education or learning support.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group interventions to support students' development.
• Develop and review IEPs and monitor progress against targets.
• Collaborate with teachers to differentiate and include all learners.
• Use data and observations to identify learning needs and plan interventions.
• Work with parents, counsellors, and specialists for coordinated support.
• Promote student wellbeing and active participation in the school community.
• Maintain accurate student records and contribute to reviews and meetings.
• Support inclusive practices and staff development.
