Job summary

Client of MENA Recruit Pty Ltd in Dubai is seeking a Mid-Level M&A Corporate Lawyer for a 3-month contract to support the in-house legal team on a broad range of corporate transactions and strategic projects.

The role requires strong M&A experience, common law qualification and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Fluent English is essential and candidates must be currently based in Dubai.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years PQE in mergers and acquisitions or related corporate work.
• Common law qualified with strong jurisdictional knowledge.
• In-house experience preferred and based in Dubai.

Responsibilities

• Advise on mergers, acquisitions, disposals and corporate restructuring transactions.
• Draft, review and negotiate transaction documents, shareholder agreements and commercial contracts.
• Conduct legal due diligence and assist with transaction execution.
• Support joint ventures, corporate governance and strategic business initiatives.
• Provide practical legal advice on corporate and commercial matters.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external advisers throughout transactions.
• Identify and manage legal and commercial risks.

Job description

We are seeking a Mid-Level M amp A Corporate Lawyer to join a Dubai-based organisation on a 3-month contract assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer with strong mergers and acquisitions experience to support the business on a broad range of corporate transactions and strategic projects. Working as part of the in-house legal team you will advise on M amp A transactions, corporate structuring, joint ventures, commercial agreements and general corporate legal matters. The role requires a lawyer who is comfortable working closely with business stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on mergers, acquisitions, disposals and corporate restructuring transactions
• Draft review and negotiate transaction documents shareholder agreements and commercial contracts
• Conduct legal due diligence and assist with transaction execution
• Support joint ventures, corporate governance and strategic business initiatives

Qualified lawyer with 5-7+ years' post-qualification experience (PQE). Common law qualified. Strong experience advising on M amp A and corporate transactions. Demonstrable local or regional (GCC/Middle East) M amp A experience. Trained at or gained experience with a leading international law firm. Previous in-house legal experience is preferred. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Must be currently based in Dubai. Fluent English (written and spoken) is essential.
