Job summary

noqodi is seeking a senior leader to own the end-to-end acquiring business, driving strategy, pricing, and partnerships with banks, processors, and schemes. The role focuses on margin optimization, onboarding efficiency, and product-driven growth across SME and strategic accounts.

You will collaborate with Sales, BI, and Product to price, launch, and monitor new acquiring products, while ensuring regulatory and risk controls are in place.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years in merchant acquiring with banks, acquirers, PSPs or payment facilitators.
• Owned an acquiring P&L, product line or major merchant portfolio.
• Managed acquiring banks, processors or schemes, incl. contracts and cost negotiations.
• Experience setting up a new acquiring business, licence or payment facilitator model.
• UAE or GCC acquiring experience, including government merchants.

Responsibilities

• Define acquiring strategy and budget across SME and Strategic Account Acquiring; track monthly.
• Manage relationships with acquiring banks, processors and card schemes; drive cost reductions.
• Own acquiring rate cards by MCC, card type, channel; approve deal pricing for key merchants.
• Oversee merchant onboarding, risk, settlements, and fraud monitoring in partnership with Risk and Compliance.
• Collaborate with Product on the roadmap and with Sales on GTM and key deals.
