Job summary

China State Construction Middle East (CSCEC ME) is seeking a Technical Manager (MEP) for a large-scale project in Dubai. You will supervise the development and approval of MEP shop drawings, materials, and method statements, ensuring alignment with project specs and cost efficiency.

You will coordinate with all trades to produce accurate shop drawings, reflect the proper sequence of construction, and interface with other trades to maintain schedule integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (required).
• 20+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in 5 star hotels, luxury hospitality or similar complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Study the project's specifications and design drawings.
• Monitor development of shop drawings for MEP and ensure submission on time.
• Ensure shop drawings and materials comply with specifications and construction sequence.
• Update management on activity status; liaise with main contractor and client.

China State Construction Middle East (CSCEC ME) is recruiting Technical Managers (MEP) to join our team in a Large Scale project in Dubai.

Position Summary:

• Monitor the development, coordination, and approval of the shop drawings/ materials/ method statements, and all necessary requirements for execution the works in site, considering the project's specifications, and the cost effect.
• Ensure the full coordination with all trades, to develop proper shop drawings, considering the construction real sequence, and all other trades interface.

Responsibilities:

• Studying the project's specifications, along with the design drawings.
• Monitoring the generation & development of shop drawings for MEP, and ensure the submission on the planned time.
• Ensure the compliance of the shop drawings and materials to the project's specifications, the construction sequence on site, and to the planned time program.
• Updating the management about the status of the ongoing activities. Liaising with Main contractor, client, and considers his concerns technically, contractually, and commercially.

Requirements:
