Job summary

China State Construction Middle East (CSCEC ME) is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead HVAC disciplines on a large-scale project in Dubai. You will oversee all mechanical works, assign day-to-day tasks, and ensure timely delivery by subordinates.

Responsibilities include designing shop drawings, reviewing tender documents, liaising with authorities, and supporting procurement with technical guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 15+ years of relevant construction project experience
• Experience in 5-star hotels or luxury hospitality or similar complex projects

Responsibilities

• Prepare and design the detailed engineering for Shop Drawings, based on Tender design drawings.
• Study and review the Tender drawings / specification and raise RFI, if required.
• Lead and support the project team and ensure timely execution of tasks.
• Ensure Quality of Engineering in discipline and compliance with project processes.
• Review design solutions to meet client requirements, codes, standards and budget.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and authorities for approvals and inspections.
• Provide technical support for procurement and assist with supplier offers.

China State Construction Middle East (CSCEC ME) is recruiting a Senior Mechanical Engineers to join us in a large-scale project in Dubai.

Position Summary:

Position requires thorough knowledge of HVAC and engineering techniques, In-charge for overseeing all Mechanical works Complete responsibility to decide on day-to-day work that needs to be carried out by subordinates including: scheduling of activities, assigning task to groups or individuals, accuracy of work conducted, and dealing with operational issues and problems.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and design the detailed engineering for Shop Drawings, based on Tender design drawings.
• Study and review the Tender drawings / specification and raise RFI, if required.
• Responsible for the leadership and support of their team
• Ensure Quality of Engineering in discipline and compliance with the appropriate project process
• Ensure the preparation and review of design solutions, which fully comply with all applicable design / Client requirements, with Design Standards, Codes of Practice and good engineering principles to agreed time, cost and quality requirements
• Maintain effective working relationships with other authorities/disciplines
• Provide technical support for the Procurement Department, and assist for the offers received from suppliers
• Liaise with local authorities for the approval of Mechanical service drawings & inspections
