Job summary

Pactive Sustainable Solutions is seeking a capable MEP Site Supervisor to oversee safe, timely, and quality MEP installation activities on Abu Dhabi project sites. You will coordinate subcontractors, ensure compliance with approved drawings and standards, and report progress to the Project Manager.

Responsibilities include planning daily activities with PM, managing PTW and risk assessments, and supervising HVAC and control panel installations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical and Electrical preferred.
• Experience with HVAC systems (AHUs, FAHUs, FCUs) and installation standards.
• Knowledge of HSE, PTW, risk assessments, and method statements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise MEP installation works and subcontractors per drawings, specs and standards.
• Plan daily site activities with PM and subcontractors.
• Manage PTW, method statements, risk assessments, inspection requests and daily records.
• Monitor HVAC works (AHUs, FAHUs, FCUs, ductwork, piping).
• Supervise installation of mechanical, electrical and control panels and cable containment.
• Verify installation quality against shop drawings and specs.
• Coordinate interfaces and resolve installation issues with engineering and project teams.
• Monitor milestones and progress; report delays and corrective actions.
• Support inspections, testing, commissioning readiness, snag closure and handover docs.
• Prepare daily progress updates, material and manpower reports.

Job description

1. Supervise safe, timely and quality execution of MEP construction and installation activities at project sites.

2. Coordinate subcontractors and site documentation, ensure compliance with approved project requirements, and report progress to the Project Manager.

Roles, Responsibilities, Duties

1. Supervise subcontractors and site teams carrying out MEP installation works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and installation standards.

2. Plan daily site activities, manpower, materials and work fronts with the Project Manager and subcontractors.

3. Manage permit-to-work (PTW) applications, method statements, risk assessments, inspection requests and daily work records.

4. Monitor HVAC works, including AHUs, FAHUs, FCUs, ventilation systems, ductwork, chilled-water piping and associated equipment.

5. Supervise mechanical, electrical and HVAC control panel installation, supports, cable containment, termination and equipment positioning.

6. Verify installation quality against approved shop drawings, project specifications, manufacturer requirements and applicable site standards.

7. Coordinate subcontractor interfaces and resolve site installation issues with the engineering and project teams.

8. Monitor milestones and progress against the approved project schedule; highlight delays and proposed corrective actions to the Project Manager.

9. Support site inspections, testing, commissioning readiness, snag closure and handover documentation.

10. Prepare daily progress updates, material requirements, manpower reports and site coordination records.

11. Enforce HSE rules, toolbox talks, safe access, housekeeping and approved PTW conditions.

12. Workplace Health, Safety and Information Security: Follow company/site HSE policies, protect project documents, and use authorized access for BMS/project systems.

Qualification:

Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical

Working knowledge of HVAC systems (AHUs, FAHUs, FCUs), MEP/control panel installation and relevant installation standards.

Knowledge of site HSE, PTW, risk assessments and method statements
