Job summary

Mira Construction in Dubai seeks an experienced MEP Manager to oversee mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works on our construction projects. You will lead MEP operations from execution through testing, commissioning, and handover, ensuring adherence to drawings, specifications, and schedules.

The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of MEP experience on large-scale buildings, strong leadership, and excellent coordination with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant MEP experience in the construction industry.
• Proven experience managing MEP works for large-scale building projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all MEP activities across the project.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and other project teams.
• Review MEP drawings, technical submittals, and material approvals.
• Ensure MEP works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
• Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, procurement, and installation activities.
• Resolve technical issues and coordinate clashes between MEP and other disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, local authority requirements, and applicable standards.
• Manage testing, commissioning, inspections, and final project handover.
• Monitor project costs, variations, and subcontractor performance.
• Prepare progress reports and ensure timely completion of all MEP works.
