Job description

Our client is among the most highly respected conglomerates in the Middle East. Their portfolio of companies is responsible for managing well-established multinational brands across several industries including automotive, real estate, logistics, building industries, and interiors/fit-out. They are looking for an MEP Sales Manager to join their growing team in Dubai. Reporting to the Head of MEP, you will be responsible for:

  1. Visiting under construction sites occasionally.
  2. Approaching the consultant/contractors for their ongoing/tender projects.
  3. Exploring new inquiries, evaluating, and qualifying further in order to estimate.
  4. Following up and assisting the estimators to meet the tender submission deadline.
  5. Conducting initial meetings with suppliers to clarify the scope/specification and to ensure that suppliers are quoting the specified items with their most competitive prices.
  6. Updating the Head of the department on the estimation status and the inquiries in hand.
  7. Organizing meetings between the Head of the Department and the client for further qualification and evaluation.
  8. Following up with existing clients/contractors for their upcoming projects.
  9. Attending relevant training occasionally.

Ideal candidates must have a Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, 10+ years of experience in MEP/low current systems, experience in selling MEP works, and good negotiation skills.
