Black & Grey HR is partnering with a leading contracting and construction company to recruit an experienced MEP Manager for large-scale building projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will lead and manage all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities across multiple projects, ensuring timely execution, quality compliance, coordination with stakeholders, and successful project delivery. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and extensive experience handling high-rise or mega building projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all MEP activities across multiple large-scale construction projects.
• Manage subcontractors, consultants, authorities, suppliers, and internal engineering teams.
• Ensure effective coordination between MEP, civil, architectural, and structural disciplines.
• Review MEP designs, drawings, shop drawings, technical submissions, and material approvals.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work progress and adherence to project specifications.
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support during all project stages.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project management teams for approvals and execution.
• Prepare project reports, progress updates, and resource planning.
• Support tendering, value engineering, and cost optimization initiatives when required.
• Lead project close-out activities, handover documentation, and final commissioning processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 8–10 years of UAE experience in MEP management within contracting companies.
• Proven experience handling mega building projects, including high-rise, commercial, residential, or mixed-use developments.
• Strong knowledge of UAE authority regulations, codes, and standards.
• Experience managing MEP subcontractors, procurement, testing & commissioning activities.
• Excellent coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
