Job summary

KEO International Consultants in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced MEP Inspector based in Ras Al Khaimah to provide on-site supervision and technical support for Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing works on a major project.

You will review drawings, coordinate with contractors and consultants, ensure compliance with codes, and document inspections and test results while prioritizing safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the design coordination and implementation of Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems for construction projects.
• Ensuring compliance with local codes, standards, regulations and project specifications in the country where the project is located.
• Reviewing and approving MEP shop drawings, material submittals and technical documents submitted by contractors and subcontractors.
• Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress of MEP works and adherence to drawings, specifications, schedules and safety standards.
• Investigating and resolving MEP-related issues, clashes or defects arising during construction while coordinating with contractors and consultants.
• Preparing and maintaining detailed records of MEP inspections, testing results, approvals and non-conformance reports for QA and project documentation.
• Providing technical support and guidance to project and construction teams on all MEP-related matters, including interpretation of drawings and specifications.

Our newest opportunity is for a talented MEP Inspector to join our team based in RAK UAE The MEP Inspector will be responsible for providing on-site supervision and technical support for all MEP engineering aspects of the project This includes ensuring compliance with all relevant codes standards and contract specifications We envisage success in this role to include Overseeing the design coordination and implementation of Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing MEP systems for construction projects Ensuring compliance with all applicable local codes standards regulations and project specifications in the country where the project is located Reviewing and approving MEP shop drawings material submittals and technical documents submitted by contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards Conducting regular site inspections to monitor the progress of MEP works and ensuring adherence to approved drawings specifications project schedules and safety standards Inspecting and testing MEP installations at various stages of construction to verify functionality quality and compliance with design intent Investigating and resolving MEP-related issues clashes or defects arising during construction while coordinating with contractors consultants and other stakeholders to implement corrective actions Preparing and maintaining detailed records of MEP inspections testing results approvals and non-conformance reports for quality assurance and project documentation purposes Ensuring all MEP activities on site are being executed safely by implementing and enforcing safety procedures conducting safety inspections and addressing potential hazards promptly Providing technical support and guidance to the project and construction teams on all MEP-related matters including resolving technical queries coordinating interdisciplinary works and assisting with the interpretation of drawings and specifications
