Job summary

KEO, a leading design and delivery firm, seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer for Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. You will lead electrical engineering activities across infrastructure projects and coordinate with architectural, structural, mechanical, and civil teams to deliver integrated systems.

You will review submissions, manage design calculations and reports, liaise with authorities and contractors, and mentor electrical teams while ensuring compliance with approved designs and high technical quality

Qualifications

• 12 years of work experience in electrical engineering.
• Experience on infrastructure-related projects in the UAE is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing all electrical engineering activities under the Supervision scope of services.
• Overseeing electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection (mep components), and specialist systems relevant to infrastructure.
• Reviewing and managing electrical design submissions, calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
• Coordinating closely with architectural, structural, mechanical, civil, and other teams to ensure fully integrated infrastructure systems.
• Managing and reviewing the performance of electrical design consultants and contractors.
• Liaising with local authorities, utility providers, and relevant stakeholders to support approvals and regulatory compliance.
• Monitoring technical quality, risks, and constructibility, with consideration for project conditions where applicable.
• Supporting construction activities by responding to technical queries, reviewing shop drawings, and ensuring compliance with approved designs.
• Providing leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to electrical engineering teams.

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team based in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.

This critical role will be responsible for maintaining communication with the client’s site engineers on all project-related issues, and reviewing and implementing MEP contract drawings and building specifications.
