Job summary

KEO International Consultants in Abu Dhabi invites applications for an Architectural Inspector who will ensure the project adheres to architectural plans, building codes and safety standards through on-site inspections.

The ideal candidate has 9 years of UAE architecture experience and a Diploma or Bachelor degree in Architecture; villa project experience is preferred; the firm offers career development and a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• 9 years of work experience in architecture or related field.
• Experience with villas projects in the UAE is preferred.
• Strong understanding of architectural plans and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure project adherence to architectural plans, building codes and safety standards through on-site inspections.
• Attend to inspection requests and take timely action.
• Review shop drawings against contract drawings, local codes and international best practice.
• Maintain site records, including daily progress photos, for audits.
• Coordinate between discipline-related works and other disciplines.
• Provide technical input to resolve site issues.

Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Architectural Inspector to join our team based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

This position is responsible for ensuring the project aheres to the architectural plans, building codes and regulations and safety standards by conducting on-site inspections.

We envisage success in this role to include;

• Attending to Inspection Requests (IR's) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action in a timely manner.
• Review submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements and international best practice.
• Report any works carried out by contractor found to not be in accordance with approved drawing and specifications and report to stakeholdersfor appropriate action.
• Monitor quality of works and assess the safety at site including health and environmental issues, ensuringcompliance withcontractual / QCS specifications andsafety and health risk assessments.
• Maintain records for daily activities on site including progress photos and ensure they are readily available for inspection as and when required.
• Prepare surveillance report(s) for deficiencies of work found at site andnon conformance reports (NCR) if required in view of the development of events.
• Check and ensure effective co-ordination between discipline related works and all other disciplines.
• Provide technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline related issues on site that may arise.

Qualifications
