Job summary

KEO Group in Dubai is seeking a Mechanical Inspector to join our project teams on-site. You will perform on-site inspections of mechanical works, monitor quality and safety, and verify conformance with ITPs, drawings and standards, reporting findings promptly.

Ideal candidate: 7 years’ experience, a Diploma or Bachelor in Engineering, and strong Towers-project consultancy/PMC or supervision exposure in the UAE. You will coordinate with disciplines and close NC/R information efficiently.

Qualifications

  • 7 years of work experience with a Diploma or Bachelor in Engineering.
  • Strong consultancy, PMC or supervision consultant experience preferred.
  • Experience working on Towers projects in UAE.

Responsibilities

  • Attending to Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action.
  • Reviewing submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements and international best practice.
  • Reporting any works carried out by contractor found to not be in accordance with approved drawing and specifications and report to stakeholders for appropriate action.
  • Monitoring quality of works and assess the safety at site including health and environmental issues, ensuring compliance with contractual / QCS specifications and safety and health risk assessments.
  • Maintaining records for daily activities on site including progress photos and ensure they are readily available for inspection as and when required.
  • Preparing surveillance report(s) for deficiencies of work found at site and non conformance reports (NCR) if required in view of the development of events.
  • Checking and ensure effective co-ordination between discipline related works and all other disciplines.
  • Providing technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline related issues on site that may arise.

Our newest opportunity is for a talentedMechanical Inspector to join our team based on our project in Dubai, UAE. This position is responsible for undertaking inspections on site in accordance with the mechanical related Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).

We envisage success in this role to include;

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 7 years work experience partnered with a Diploma or Bachelor degree in Engineering.

Furthermore, you should demonstrate:

  • Strong consultancy, PMC or supervision consultant experience preferred.
  • Experience working on Towers projects in UAE.
