Job summary

Director & Co in Dubai is seeking an experienced MEP Commercial Manager to lead the commercial management of major MEP projects across the UAE. The role covers tendering, contract negotiation, procurement, valuations, variations, claims, cost control and final accounts.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in MEP contracting with large-scale project experience, strong knowledge of FIDIC and proven ability to manage contracts, teams and stakeholder relationships while protecting profitability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in MEP/Electromechanical contracting with strong commercial experience.
• Proven track record on large-scale high-value projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP contracts, FIDIC, variations, claims, valuations, procurement, and final accounts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial management of large-scale MEP projects from tender to final account.
• Manage contracts, variations, claims, valuations, and commercial negotiations.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow, and profitability.
• Review subcontractor and supplier commercial agreements and payments.
• Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
• Work closely with project, procurement, finance, consultants, and clients to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
• Oversee and mentor the commercial/QS team across multiple projects.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, FIDIC, and company commercial procedures.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced MEP Commercial Manager to lead the commercial management of major MEP projects across the UAE. The role will oversee the commercial lifecycle of projects, from tendering and contract negotiation through procurement, valuations, variations, claims, cost control, and final accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong MEP contracting background, with proven experience managing the commercial aspects of large-scale residential, mixed-use, commercial, hospitality, infrastructure, or other complex developments. They should be confident dealing with main contractors, developers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers, while protecting project profitability and ensuring contractual compliance.

• UAE/GCC experience is highly preferred.
