Job summary

Protech Pioneer in UAE seeks an experienced MEP BIM Modeler to join our engineering and construction team. You will develop accurate BIM models using Revit and prepare detailed 2D/3D drawings to support projects from design through construction.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with MEP BIM modelling, AutoCAD drafting, shop drawings, and construction documentation, with a solid understanding of BIM workflows and standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in MEP BIM modelling and drafting.
• Strong knowledge of Autodesk Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
• Experience with LOD 300/400 BIM models and BIM coordination.
• Experience in clash detection and resolution within BIM workflows.
• Proficient in interpreting MEP layouts and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate MEP BIM models using Autodesk Revit and prepare detailed 2D/3D drawings.
• Prepare and update MEP shop drawings based on project requirements.
• Coordinate MEP services with architectural, structural, and other disciplines.
• Identify and resolve clashes and coordination issues within BIM models.
• Prepare construction drawings, layouts, sections, schedules, and documentation.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Develop accurate MEP BIM models using Autodesk Revit and prepare detailed 2D 3D drawings using AutoCAD
• Prepare and update MEP shop drawings based on project requirements and approved design information
• Work with models at LOD 300 400 and ensure drawings and models meet project specifications
• Coordinate MEP services with architectural structural and other building disciplines
• Identify and resolve clashes and coordination issues within BIM models
• Prepare detailed construction drawings layouts sections schedules and documentation
• Review drawings and models for accuracy constructability and compliance with project requirements
• Incorporate design revisions and site client comments into BIM models and drawings
• Coordinate with BIM Engineers MEP Engineers Project Managers and site teams
• Maintain proper drawing standards model organization naming conventions and document control
• Support project teams throughout the design coordination and construction stages

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in MEP BIM modelling AutoCAD drafting
• Strong knowledge of Autodesk Revit MEP and AutoCAD
• Good understanding of MEP construction drawings and shop drawings
• Experience working with LOD 300 LOD 400 BIM models
• Knowledge of BIM coordination and clash detection
• Strong technical drawing and detailing skills
• Ability to understand MEP layouts specifications and construction documentation
• Good understanding of construction and engineering workflows
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to drawing model quality
