Job summary

Sobha Constructions LLC seeks an experienced BIM Modeler to develop, coordinate and maintain BIM models for MEP and modular construction projects. You will work closely with engineers, BIM coordinators and project teams to deliver coordinated models, shop drawings and construction documentation to support prefabrication and on-site activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in a relevant engineering discipline.

BIM Modeler MEP Modular Design

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled BIM Modeler with 4 to 8 years of experience in BIM modeling specializing in MEP systems and modular construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating and maintaining accurate BIM models for Mechanical Electrical Plumbing MEP and modular design works in accordance with project requirements and industry standards. The role involves close collaboration with engineers, BIM Coordinators and project teams to produce coordinated models, shop drawings and construction documentation that support efficient project delivery, prefabrication and installation activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong proficiency in Revit MEP, a sound understanding of MEP systems and experience in modular and off-site construction methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain BIM models for MEP and modular construction projects. Prepare coordinated shop drawings, installation drawings and fabrication drawings. Coordinate MEP systems with architectural, structural and modular design requirements. Participate in clash detection and resolution processes. Ensure compliance with BIM standards, project specifications and LOD requirements. Support prefabrication and modular construction workflows through accurate model development. Incorporate design revisions and maintain model accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering. 6-8 years of experience in BIM modeling with a focus on MEP projects. Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP, AutoCAD and Navisworks. Experience in modular construction, prefabrication or DfMA projects is preferred. Strong understanding of MEP systems, BIM workflows and multidisciplinary coordination. Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
