Job summary

M I R A L.L.C is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer / Draftsman / MEP BIM Modeller in Dubai to join our team. You will prepare electrical drawings, develop BIM models in Revit MEP, and produce 2D AutoCAD drawings while ensuring coordination with multi-disciplinary teams.

You will read and interpret engineering drawings, contribute to project documentation, and support the project with detailed layouts and shop drawings.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, Electrical Draftsman, MEP BIM Modeller or similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Good understanding of electrical building services and MEP coordination.
• Experience preparing electrical shop drawings and detailed layouts.
• Experience working with BIM models and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and project specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• UAE/GCC project experience will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, layouts, shop drawings and technical documentation.

• Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, structural and other MEP disciplines.
• Develop and maintain BIM models in accordance with project requirements.
• Review drawings and models for accuracy, coordination and compliance with project specifications.
• Identify and resolve design clashes using BIM coordination workflows.
• Prepare electrical layouts including lighting, power, containment and other related systems.
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Ensure drawings and models are updated according to project revisions.
• Support project teams with technical drawings, quantity information and documentation as required.
