Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Mechanical Engineer specializing in Construction Supervision to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing mechanical aspects of construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise mechanical installations on construction sites, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  2. Review and approve mechanical shop drawings and submittals.
  3. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and local building codes.
  4. Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues.
  5. Prepare detailed reports on construction progress, quality control, and safety measures.
  6. Analyze and optimize mechanical systems for energy efficiency and performance.
  7. Manage project timelines and budgets related to mechanical aspects of construction.
  8. Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise to the team.
  9. Ensure all mechanical installations meet required standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on construction supervision.
