Job summary

BK Gulf LLC in Dubai is seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, coordination and delivery of HVAC, cooling, ventilation, and fire protection systems for modular E-Houses and data center units.

You will collaborate with electrical, structural and manufacturing teams, review technical docs and vendor submittals, and support testing, commissioning and handover to ensure compliant, safe and reliable facilities.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience in data centers, E-Houses, modular buildings, or mission-critical projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and BIM software.
• Strong coordination, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems, including HVAC, ventilation, cooling, and pressurization, for modular E-Houses and data center units.
• Engineer and integrate fire protection systems, including fire detection, alarm, suppression, and fire-rated compartmentation, in compliance with NFPA standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering deliverables with electrical, structural, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless modular fabrication and installation.
• Review and validate technical documents, equipment specifications, and vendor submittals, ensuring compliance with project requirements and applicable international codes and standards.
• Support the construction, testing, and commissioning of mechanical and fire protection systems, resolving technical issues and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and performance standards.
• Provide technical guidance and engineering support throughout the project lifecycle, from design through commissioning and handover.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, coordination, and delivery of HVAC, cooling, ventilation, pressurization, and fire protection systems for modular E-Houses and data center projects, ensuring compliance with project requirements, applicable codes, and industry standards. The role includes providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle, from design and fabrication to installation, commissioning, and handover.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with experience in data centers, E-Houses, modular buildings, industrial facilities, or mission‑critical projects. Proven experience in the design of HVAC, cooling, ventilation, and pressurization systems. Proficiency in engineering software such as Auto CAD, Revit, BIM, and related software. Experience reviewing technical specifications, vendor submittals, and construction drawings. Knowledge of testing, commissioning, and handover processes for mechanical and fire protection systems. Strong coordination, communication, and project management skills.
