Job summary

Al Nasiya General Contracting in Abu Dhabi is seeking a senior MEP engineer to lead the design, planning and review of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing and fire protection for major projects.

You will coordinate with architects, civil and electrical teams, supervise installations, oversee testing and commissioning, and ensure safety and quality compliance on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in construction projects, MEP works.
• Valid engineering license or professional registration where required.

Responsibilities

• Design, planning and review of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing and fire protection.
• Coordinate with architects, civil, structural and electrical teams for project execution.
• Supervise installation to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Inspect materials and workmanship for quality and standards.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve mechanical issues during construction.
• Track progress and ensure mechanical works are completed on schedule.
• Oversee testing, commissioning and performance verification of systems.
• Ensure safety, health and environmental compliance.
• Prepare and maintain technical reports and as-built documentation.
• Assist with material planning and cost control for mechanical works.

Key Responsibilities

• Design amp Planning Develop and review mechanical system designs including HVAC plumbing and fire protection systems
• Project Coordination Coordinate with architects civil structural and electrical teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Installation Supervision Monitor installation of mechanical systems to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications
• Quality Control Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure they meet project standards and quality requirements
• Technical Support Provide technical guidance and resolve mechanical issues during construction
• Progress Monitoring Track project progress and ensure mechanical works are completed on schedule
• Testing amp Commissioning Supervise testing commissioning and performance verification of mechanical systems
• Safety Compliance Ensure all mechanical activities comply with health safety and environmental regulations
• Documentation Prepare and maintain technical reports inspection records and as-built documentation
• Cost amp Material Management Assist with material planning quantity verification and cost control for mechanical works

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• With 10 yrs relevant experienceValid engineering license or professional registration where required
• Proven experience in construction projects particularly MEP Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing works
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit MEP and Microsoft Office knowledge of BIM software is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of HVAC plumbing fire protection systems and relevant construction standards
• Familiarity with local building codes safety regulations and quality standards
• Excellent problem-solving analytical and technical skills
• Strong communication coordination and teamwork abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines
• Currently based in UAE With Valid Driving License Able to attend personal Interview in Abu Dhabi
