Job summary

SBG Systems is seeking a Sales Manager for the Middle East and Africa in the UAE. You will own customer accounts, drive revenue, and coordinate with Operations, Technical Support, and Product Management to tailor solutions and proposals.

Reporting to the EMEA Sales Director, you will travel 30–50% and build the company’s presence with academic accounts while representing a Made in France MEMS leader in sensors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience, ideally in the Defense industry in the Middle East.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a strong plus.
• Business acumen and result oriented with good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for customer accounts, and sales revenue in your area.
• You coordinate your sales activity with other departments (Operations, Technical support, Product Management).
• You analyze customer needs and define the appropriate solutions.
• You prepare sales proposals and follow-up business opportunities until their conversion to purchase orders.
• You plan and follow-up the customer demonstrations and evaluation with the help of the Support team.
• You actively prospect new markets/clients and participate in tradeshows in your region with the support of the Business Developers and the Marketing department.
• You develop the company’s presence within the academic accounts (presentation, sponsorship…).
• You will be required to travel within your area (30% to 50% of your time).
