Job summary

Accor is seeking a strategic Learning & Organisational Development leader to drive the Academy across the Middle East Africa and Turkey hub, embedding a continuous learning culture that supports operational performance.

You will partner with senior leaders to set the annual learning strategy, oversee delivery of high‑quality programs, certify trainers, manage budgets, and collaborate with external vendors to align with Heartist culture.

Qualifications

• Significant progressive experience leading and delivering learning programs in a multi-unit organisation.
• Broad understanding of people strategy and links to talent management & learning.
• Experience using learning analytics to drive insight and decisions.
• Strong verbal and written communication with facilitation skills.
• Ability to coach and provide feedback to remote teams.
• Consulting skills for advising L&D teams, vendors and consultants.
• Project management expertise from conception to implementation.
• Designing and delivering learning programs for multi-cultural, multi-level audiences.
• In-depth knowledge of learning design principles and adult learning theory.
• 5 years in a leadership or regional role.

Responsibilities

• Develop the annual learning strategy and catalogue aligned to regional priorities.
• Partner with key stakeholders to identify learning needs and build a best-in-class approach.
• Lead continuous learning culture using analytics to drive insights and decisions.
• Certify property-based trainers/facilitators and L&D teams to deliver programs.
• Manage budget, external consultants, and internal SMEs for learning solutions.
• Oversee delivery of high-quality learning across the hub and support pre-opening projects.
• Build strong relationships with external vendors ensuring governance and alignment.
• Design and tailor Accor Academy programs for the region, including translations where needed.
