Job summary

TRACTEBEL ENGINEERING S.A DUBAI BRANCH is seeking a senior QA/QC Specialist for civil infrastructure projects in Dubai. You will lead materials inspection, sampling, and testing to ensure compliance with contract, approved submittals, specifications, and standards.

You will coordinate with approved laboratories, review test results, and maintain records, traceability, and documentation. Dubai Central Laboratory approval, ISO 9001 knowledge, and 10+ years of experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience.
• Experience in materials inspection and testing for civil infrastructure projects.
• Sound knowledge of QA/QC procedures, ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Dubai Central Laboratory approval, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Undertake materials inspection, sampling, testing.
• Coordinate with laboratories and review test results.
• Monitor concrete, repair materials, aggregates, asphalt and other project materials.
• Identify non-conforming materials or workmanship and support NCRs.
• Maintain inspection records, test logs, approvals, traceability and quality documentation.

Job description

Undertake materials inspection, sampling, testing

coordination, and quality verification.

• Verify that materials and workmanship comply with

the Contract, approved submittals, specifications,

and applicable standards.

• Inspect delivered materials, verify approvals,

witness sampling and testing, coordinate with

approved laboratories, and review test results.

• Monitor concrete, repair materials, aggregates,

asphalt, backfill, waterproofing, coatings,

instrumentation-related materials, and other

project-specific materials.

• Identify non-conforming materials or workmanship

and support NCR issuance, corrective actions, and

closure.

• Maintain material inspection records, test logs,

approvals, traceability records, and quality

documentation.

Desired Candidate Profile

Materials Engineering, Construction Technology, or

equivalent.

• Experience in materials inspection and testing for

civil infrastructure projects.
