Job summary

AtkinsRalis seeks a Senior Design Manager (Master Planning) in Abu Dhabi to translate the company’s vision into comprehensive master plans. You will mentor the master planning team, drive design excellence, and coordinate with internal disciplines and external consultants, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with local planning requirements.

The role emphasizes strategic design leadership, sustainability alignment, and collaboration with senior leadership to meet business objectives.

Qualifications

Masters or Bachelors in Master Planning, Urban Design, Architecture, or Urban Planning.
Advanced degrees in Urban Design/ Landscape Architecture are a plus.
12–15 years in real estate design & development with leadership roles.
Minimum 7 years in the Middle East, UAE/GCC region.

Responsibilities

Oversee strategic design management of master planning projects and mentor the team.
Coordinate with disciplines (feasibility, architecture, infrastructure, delivery).
Ensure compliance with DMT planning requirements and stakeholder needs.
Lead consultant coordination, review master plan deliverables, and presentations to senior management.
Promote innovation, sustainability, and alignment with company objectives.
