Job summary

AtkinsRalis in Abu Dhabi UAE is seeking a Technical/Design Manager - Infrastructure to lead the design process and coordinate with clients, consultants and stakeholders through the project lifecycle. You will report to the Programme/Design Director or Senior Project Manager to ensure scope delivery aligns with client requirements and expectations.

Key responsibilities include developing a Design Management Plan, coordinating LDC activities, and managing risks and changes while ensuring quality

Qualifications

• 10-15 years in design manager experience on hospitality projects.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture.
• LEED experience is beneficial.
• Regional experience preferred, Saudi Arabia.
• Able to work in a team environment and be client facing.
• Active leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design process through the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with clients, design consultants and stakeholders to meet project objectives.
• Assist Programme Director/Design Director or Senior PM to ensure scope is delivered as per client expectations.
• Develop Design Management Plan (DMP) and a design responsibility matrix.
• Oversee Design Consultants' activities and ensure timely, on-budget quality deliverables.
• Coordinate with document controllers to keep project information up to date.
• Support change management, risk management and value management during design stages.
