Job summary

NAFFCO Group in Dubai is seeking an Insurance Claims Officer to manage marine, property, and liability claims from registration to closure. You will review policies, gather documentation, assess validity, and coordinate with insured parties, brokers, insurers, surveyors, and loss adjusters.

The role requires experience with marine, property, liability, or cargo claims, strong knowledge of policies and loss assessment, and the ability to interpret complex wording.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Experience as an Insurance Claims Officer, Claims Executive, or Claims Handler.
• Proven experience handling marine, property, liability, or cargo insurance claims.

Responsibilities

• Receive, register, and acknowledge marine, property, and liability claims.
• Review policies, endorsements, limits, exclusions, and deductibles.
• Gather and verify supporting documents including statements, photographs, and reports.
• Assess claim validity, quantum, and liability within policy terms.
• Coordinate with insured parties, brokers, insurers, surveyors, and loss adjusters.
• Process cargo, vessel, property, accident, and third-party liability claims.
• Review repair quotations, replacement costs, and salvage opportunities.
• Prepare evaluations, reserves, settlement documents, and closure recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with policy terms, regulations, and data protection requirements.
