Job summary

Al Futtaim Private Company (LLC) seeks an experienced Property Claims Specialist to register, process and monitor claims, review coverage, loss adjuster reports, and maintain accurate records. You will determine approvals, settlements, or further investigation as required, within your authority.

You will coordinate with policyholders, brokers, reinsurers, surveyors, and service providers to ensure timely claim status updates and end-to-end handling, in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or diploma in Insurance, Business Administration or related field.
• 2–4 years of insurance experience, preferably in Property claims.
• Knowledge of Property insurance products and claims processes is a must.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Register, process, and monitor assigned Property claims; review policy coverage, terms, warranties, exclusions, loss adjuster reports, and supporting documents; follow up on outstanding requirements; and maintain accurate system records.
• Maintain appropriate claim reserves and complete documentation.
• Coverage assessment alongside liability and quantum.
• Prepare clear, reasoned claim notes recommending approval, settlement, declinature, or further investigation, supported by policy provisions and evidence.
• Handle assigned Property claims end-to-end within the given authority, while supporting the Team Leader with claim monitoring, follow-ups, reporting, and workflow requirements.
• Coordinate with policyholders, brokers, re-insurers, surveyors, loss adjusters, and service providers, providing timely claim-status updates.
• Manage recovery, salvage, and reinsurance requirements, where applicable.
• Process and communicate approved settlements or declinatures within the prescribed TAT and maintain all supporting records in DMS.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, service standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
