Job summary

Contour Software, part of CSI Global Centre, seeks a seasoned Market & Business Development professional to drive MENA market initiatives and identify B2B software targets. You will map vertical ecosystems and analyze competitive landscapes to support regional expansion.

You will also maintain sourcing activity, coordinate meetings, and leverage your network to create deal flow across the region. Fluency in English and local languages is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years in a business development, market-facing role.
• Track record of lead generation and network in country of residence/coverage.
• Undergraduate degree in Business, CS, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong understanding of assigned MENA markets, including technology ecosystems and business environments
• Identify B2B software companies fitting acquisition criteria, including vertical market software and enterprise vendors
• Conduct in-depth market research, vertical mapping, and competitive landscape analysis
• Maintain tracking of sourcing activity, outreach progress, and deal pipeline movement
• Provide country-level insights and ecosystem intelligence to support regional expansion strategy
• Support day-to-day sourcing operations, including database building and meeting coordination

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of relevant experience, ideally at a tier one management consulting firm, private equity, or investment bank
• Prior experience in a business development or market-facing role with a track record of lead generation
• Strong existing industry network in the country of residence/coverage
• Undergraduate Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field
• Ability to establish credibility with senior business leaders
• Fluency in English and the relevant local language (Arabic for Arabic-speaking markets, Turkish for Turkey)

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, MBA, CA, CPA, ACCA, or ACA qualification
• Experience with CRM tools, pipeline tracking, and reporting
Financial analysis, modelling, diligence, or transaction execution experience
