Job summary

A UAE-based automotive manufacturer is seeking a Manager – Chassis Assembly to lead the chassis assembly operations in Dubai. The role focuses on meeting production targets, maintaining high quality, safety, and efficiency standards, and driving continuous improvement across the production line.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership in automotive manufacturing, expertise in lean principles, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automotive/Industrial Engineering.
• 5–10+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing.
• 3–5 years in a supervisory/management role.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
• Experience leading high-volume manufacturing or assembly operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day chassis assembly operations to meet production schedules.
• Supervise assembly teams and guide improvements in productivity.
• Monitor processes to ensure quality and engineering standards.
• Implement lean manufacturing to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Track production performance using output, cycle time, equipment utilization and quality metrics.
• Collaborate with supply chain, planning, maintenance, quality and engineering teams.
• Identify operational challenges and implement corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare production reports and communicate performance to senior management.
• Maintain accurate production records and support process documentation.

Job Overview

A leading automotive manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Manager – Chassis Assembly to join its production team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This position is responsible for managing chassis assembly operations, ensuring production goals are achieved while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience in automotive manufacturing and a proven ability to improve production processes, manage teams, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day chassis assembly operations to ensure production schedules are met.
• Supervise assembly teams and provide guidance to improve productivity and performance.
• Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure products meet engineering and quality standards.
• Implement lean manufacturing practices to improve efficiency and reduce production waste.
• Track production performance using key metrics such as output, cycle time, equipment utilization, and product quality.
• Work closely with supply chain, planning, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to support uninterrupted production.
• Identify operational challenges and implement effective corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization and workplace efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare production reports and communicate operational performance to senior management.
• Maintain accurate production records and support process documentation.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of automotive chassis assembly and manufacturing processes.
• Leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate production teams.
• Experience in lean manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of ERP, MES, or other manufacturing management systems.
• Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in automotive manufacturing.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in a supervisory or management position.
• Professional certifications in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma are considered an advantage.
• Experience leading high-volume manufacturing or assembly operations is preferred.

Salary

AED 18,000 – AED 20,000 per month
