Job summary

Naffco in Dubai, UAE invites an experienced Head of In-Process Chassis Manufacturing to lead welding, fabrication and assembly operations across the chassis manufacturing process. You will drive production planning, optimize resources, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and partner with engineering, quality, supply chain to meet targets and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing.
At least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Hands-on experience in chassis manufacturing or body-in-white processes.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage in-process chassis manufacturing operations including welding, fabrication, and assembly.
Drive production planning and execution to meet targets.
Ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance.
Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with engineering teams to support design improvements and manufacturability.
Oversee quality control processes and minimize defects and rework.
Manage and develop production teams including supervisors, engineers, and operators.
Optimize resource utilization including manpower, equipment, and materials.
Monitor key performance indicators and drive corrective actions.
Ensure maintenance and uptime of production equipment.
Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
