Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Chassis Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will lead the design and development of vehicle chassis systems, ensuring they meet performance, durability, safety, and manufacturing standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to deliver high-quality engineering solutions from concept to production.

This opportunity is ideal for experienced automotive engineers with a strong background in chassis design, CAD modeling, engineering validation, and product development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the complete chassis design process from concept development to production release.
• Develop and update 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
• Conduct design reviews, tolerance analysis, and Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
• Coordinate engineering change requests and maintain design documentation.
• Work closely with manufacturing, quality, testing, and supplier teams to ensure production-ready designs.
• Support prototype builds, validation testing, and troubleshooting activities.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for design-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
• Improve product performance, manufacturability, and cost efficiency through continuous design optimization.
• Participate in project planning and ensure engineering milestones are achieved on schedule.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in chassis design within an automotive OEM or Tier-1 supplier environment.
• Strong knowledge of chassis systems, structural engineering, and vehicle dynamics.
• Hands-on experience with CAD software and engineering documentation.
• Understanding of CAE simulations and engineering analysis techniques.
• Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM), GD&T, tolerance analysis, and DFMEA.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.
