The role requires strong communication, decisive leadership, and a hands-on approach to continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. A degree in engineering or production management and 3+ years in chassis manufacturing are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in chassis manufacturing or heavy commercial vehicle production.
• Lean manufacturing principles knowledge and continuous improvement experience.
• Proven track record of managing manufacturing teams and meeting production targets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end chassis manufacturing processes, ensuring on-time delivery and quality.
• Monitor daily production schedules and manpower allocation to optimise workflow.
• Develop and implement manufacturing process improvements to reduce waste and downtime.
• Liaise with engineering, procurement, and logistics to coordinate resources and resolve bottlenecks.
