Stevin Rock in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, seeks an experienced Maintenance Planning Engineer for its static plant operations, including crushers, screens and conveyors. You will develop and coordinate maintenance plans to maximise availability, minimise downtime and ensure schedules are properly resourced.

You will plan shutdowns, coordinate labour and materials, review equipment history and drive asset reliability in a large-scale quarrying environment in the UAE.

Qualificações

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Extensive maintenance planning experience in mining/quarrying/heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of crushers, screens, conveyors and bulk material handling.
• Experience using CMMS or similar maintenance management systems.
• Strong planning, analytical and coordination abilities.
• Hands-on, practical approach to heavy industrial maintenance.

Maintenance Planning Engineer | Static Plant

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Planning Engineer to join our team at our flagship limestone quarry in Ras Al Khaimah.

This is a key role supporting the reliability and availability of our static plant, including crushers, screens, conveyor systems and associated equipment.

The Role

You will be responsible for developing and coordinating effective maintenance plans that help maximise plant availability, reduce unplanned downtime and ensure maintenance activities are properly scheduled, resourced and executed.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Developing preventive and planned maintenance schedules for static plant equipment
• Planning shutdowns, major maintenance activities and equipment overhauls
• Coordinating labour, materials, spare parts and contractor requirements
• Working closely with maintenance and operations teams to prioritise work
• Reviewing equipment history, breakdowns and maintenance trends
• Improving maintenance planning, scheduling and asset reliability
• Ensuring maintenance plans support safe and efficient plant operations

About You

We are looking for someone with:

• A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Strong experience in maintenance planning within mining, quarrying, cement or heavy industry
• Good technical knowledge of crushers, screens, conveyors and bulk material handling equipment
• Experience with CMMS or maintenance management systems
• Strong planning, analytical and coordination skills
• A practical, hands-on understanding of heavy industrial maintenance
