Job summary

Stevin Rock LLC in Ras Al Khaimah seeks a Shift Engineer - Static Plant to oversee safe, efficient operation of crushing and screening plants. You will lead shift teams, ensure targets are met, and maintain product quality while coordinating maintenance activities.

The role emphasizes equipment reliability, workforce safety, and continuous improvement, with 24/7 operations in a large-scale quarrying environment. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Mining or related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in crushing plant, quarrying, mining, cement, aggregates, or heavy industrial operations.
• Experience supervising operational teams in a 24/7 production environment.
• Strong understanding of crushing, screening, conveying and material handling systems.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and operational reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise crusher plant operations during shift activities.
• Ensure production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and to specification.
• Monitor crusher, screen, conveyor, and associated plant performance.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimise downtime and maximise equipment availability.
• Ensure compliance with all HSE policies, procedures, and permit requirements.
• Monitor product quality and work closely with Quality Control to maintain required specifications.
• Investigate operational issues and implement corrective actions.
• Manage and develop foremen, operators, and support personnel.
• Prepare shift reports and maintain accurate production records.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reliability, and cost effectiveness.
