Job summary

Stevin Rock in Ras Al Khaimah seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our industrial operations team. The role covers electrical construction, maintenance, automation and project activities across a large-scale quarrying and cement environment.

The candidate will apply strong electrical engineering knowledge with hands-on troubleshooting, project execution and team supervision, overseeing PLC/HMI systems, control drawings and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum five years’ experience within industrial plants, manufacturing, quarrying, mining, cement or infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution, motor control and industrial automation
• Hands-on experience with Siemens and Rockwell PLC and HMI systems
• Knowledge of SCADA, VFDs, instrumentation and industrial communication networks
• Ability to interpret and modify electrical and control wiring drawings
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and electrical design calculations
• Strong troubleshooting, planning, leadership and communication skills
• UAE driving licence preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical BOQs, cable schedules, sizing calculations and technical specifications
• Review and modify single-line diagrams, control schematics and panel drawings
• Plan and supervise electrical manpower and subcontractors
• Troubleshoot HV/LV distribution systems, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, ACBs, VFDs, motors and control panels
• Support installation, testing, commissioning and shutdown activities
• Diagnose faults within PLC, HMI, Remote I/O and industrial communication systems
• Upload, back up, restore and troubleshoot PLC and HMI programmes
• Supervise instrumentation installation, calibration, cable termination and loop checking
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, procurement and project teams
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

This is a hands‑on role supporting electrical construction, maintenance, automation and project activities across a large‑scale industrial environment. Key Responsibilities
