Frank Porter Vacation Homes Rental LLC in Dubai is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee daily maintenance for our holiday home portfolio, ensuring safety, reliability and guest comfort while leading a hands-on, collaborative team.

You will implement preventive maintenance, manage work orders, coordinate vendors, monitor costs, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and building codes in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience in maintenance management within hospitality or facility operations.
• Strong leadership with experience supervising multi-skilled teams.
• Excellent organisational skills with preventive maintenance program experience.
• Ability to prioritise, track, and resolve multiple work orders simultaneously.
• Proven ability to coordinate urgent and emergency repairs.
• Hands-on knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication and safety compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily maintenance tasks across the holiday home portfolio, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimise breakdowns and uphold property standards.
• Manage work order processes, monitor requests, prioritise urgent jobs, allocate resources, and ensure completion.
• Coordinate and respond to emergency repairs affecting guest safety and comfort or critical systems.
• Engage and oversee external vendors/contractors for specialised maintenance or repairs.
• Track maintenance costs and prepare regular reports on operations and expenditures.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and property regulations.

Role Overview

As a Maintenance Manager you will be a crucial part of our property management operations in Dubai overseeing onsite maintenance activities for our diverse holiday home portfolio Your expertise will ensure the seamless functioning safety and comfort of our properties for guests and owners alike all while working hands‑on within a dynamic team environment

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all daily maintenance tasks across the holiday home portfolio ensuring timely resolution of reported issues
• Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians assigning tasks monitoring performance and providing feedback as needed
• Develop plan and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimise property breakdowns and uphold high-quality property standards
• Efficiently manage the work order process monitor maintenance requests prioritise urgent jobs allocate resources and ensure completion
• Coordinate and respond swiftly to emergency repairs affecting guest safety comfort critical systems or upcoming check‑ins
• Engage coordinate and oversee external vendors and contractors as required for specialised maintenance or repairs
• Track maintenance costs and prepare regular reports on operations and expenditures
• Ensure adherence to relevant health safety and property regulations

Must have requirements

• Proven experience minimum 5 years in maintenance management preferably within hospitality property management or facility operations
• Strong leadership skills with experience supervising multi‑skilled maintenance teams
• Excellent organisational capabilities with a track record of establishing and maintaining preventive maintenance programs
• Proficiency in prioritising tracking and resolving multiple work orders simultaneously
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate and respond effectively to urgent and emergency repair situations
• Hands‑on knowledge of building systems HVAC plumbing electrical carpentry general repairs
• Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal
• Strong understanding of property safety standards and compliance requirements
• Proficiency with work order management systems or maintenance software

Nice to have requirements

• Previous experience in the holiday home or luxury accommodation sector in Dubai or the UAE
• Technical qualifications in engineering facilities management or related fields
• Familiarity with local health and safety property and building codes
• Basic proficiency in Arabic or other key guest languages
• Experience managing budgets and negotiating with vendors or contractors
