Job summary

Frank Porter in Dubai is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee onsite maintenance across our holiday home portfolio, ensuring safety, reliability and guest comfort. You will lead a multi-skilled team, plan preventive maintenance, manage work orders, coordinate with vendors, and ensure timely responses to emergencies and check-ins.

This role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication in English, and a track record of maintaining high property standards in hospitality

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance management experience in hospitality or property management.
• Strong leadership and multi-skilled team supervision.
• Experience establishing preventive maintenance programs.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple work orders.
• Experience with emergency repairs and guest safety considerations.
• Hands-on knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
• Proficient English communication, written and verbal.
• Familiarity with safety standards and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance tasks across the holiday home portfolio and resolve issues promptly.
• Lead and supervise maintenance technicians, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules to reduce breakdowns.
• Manage the work order process, prioritize urgent jobs, allocate resources, ensure completion.
• Coordinate emergency repairs affecting guest safety or upcoming check-ins.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized work.
• Track maintenance costs and prepare regular expenditure reports.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and property regulations.
