Job summary

Antal International in Sharjah, UAE, is seeking a Sales Engineer for LV switchgear to drive new business and manage key accounts. The role blends technical knowledge of LV power distribution with disciplined commercial execution across UAE markets.

The ideal candidate will have 3–8 years in technical sales or project sales within LV switchgear, along with a solid understanding of local contractors, consultants and end-users. A valid UAE driving license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Approximately 3-8 years of relevant experience in technical sales, business development or project sales within LV switchgear, electrical distribution, industrial automation or related electrical products.
• Good understanding of LV switchgear, protection devices, distribution systems and electrical project requirements.
• Working knowledge of the UAE contractor, consultant, EPC and end-user market is strongly preferred.
• Professional English communication skills; additional regional languages are an advantage.
• Valid UAE driving licence is preferred and willingness to travel across the UAE is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities across the UAE and selected regional markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with consultants, EPC contractors, electrical contractors, utilities, OEMs, package builders, developers and industrial end users.
• Promote solutions including LV switchgear and related panels.
• Develop strategic accounts through regular customer visits and proposals.
• Coordinate with estimation, engineering, production and project teams to prepare proposals.
• Review specs, drawings, BOQs and tender requirements to identify suitable solutions.
• Negotiate commercial and technical matters and support order closure.
• Maintain sales pipeline, forecasts using CRM.
• Achieve order intake, revenue, margin targets.
• Monitor market developments and provide competitive intelligence.
• Represent at customer meetings, workshops, exhibitions.
