Qualifications

• Prior wine-service experience in luxury settings.
• Knowledge of grape varieties, regions, styles and vintages.
• Ability to explain wine to guests of varying knowledge levels.
• Excellent communication and guest engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and discuss wine preferences confidently.
• Present wine lists and explain selections.
• Recommend wines to complement menu and tastes.
• Provide accurate information on varieties, regions, vintages, producers.
• Serve still, sparkling, fortified, and dessert wines correctly.
• Maintain glassware and service equipment; check wine condition.
