Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in an upscale 5-star hotel or resort restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of food & beverage service standards.
• Excellent presentation, interpersonal skills, and ability to relate to high-profile clients.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests warmly as they arrive at the restaurant.
• Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waiting lists efficiently.
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and service flow.
• Maintain an organized and updated reservations system.
• Communicate guest preferences and special requests to service and kitchen teams.
• Answer telephone inquiries regarding reservations, menu details, and restaurant policies.
• Support the service team during peak hours as needed.
• Ensure hostess stand, entrance area, and menus are clean and presentable.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally and promptly, escalating when necessary.
• Maintain excellent knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and promotions.
• Assist in coordinating special events, group bookings, and VIP arrangements.
• Uphold grooming standards and act as an ambassador for the restaurant brand.
