Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts at InterContinental Residences Abu Dhabi is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation for luxury residences. You will lead daily operations, inspect rooms, and coordinate with Front Office, Engineering and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising housekeeping in hotel or luxury residential environment.
• Knowledge of cleaning standards and hygiene practices.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent leadership and ability to motivate a team.
• Proactive problem-solving and guest-focused service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; good English; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping operations to maintain high standards for residences, public areas and spaces.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and residences for cleanliness and presentation.
• Assign duties, prepare schedules and monitor team performance.
• Ensure cleaning procedures meet hotel standards, health, safety and hygiene requirements.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering and other departments to resolve guest requests and maintenance issues.
• Handle guest requests and concerns professionally to ensure a comfortable residential experience.
• Monitor supplies, linen, and equipment usage and stock levels.
• Support training, coaching and development of housekeeping colleagues.
• Record and report daily activities; manage shift handovers smoothly.
