Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts at InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa seeks a reservations/front office professional. You will manage bookings, respond to inquiries, and upsell to maximise occupancy while delivering attentive guest service.

Fluency in English and strong communication are required. Experience in a hotel environment is preferred, with flexibility to work shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in Reservations or Front Office, preferably in a hotel or resort.
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Excellent communication and guest-focused approach.
• Strong reading, writing and basic maths skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle individual and group reservations, amendments, and cancellations via the hotel system.
• Respond to guest inquiries by phone and other channels in a professional, welcoming manner.
• Maintain up-to-date room rates, promotions and hotel information for accurate guest details.
• Upsell rooms and propose suitable options to maximise occupancy and revenue.
• Process reservations from travel agencies, wholesalers, sales teams and reservation centres.
• Provide information about the resort, facilities, and local attractions.
