Job summary

Le Méridien seeks a Reservations Agent to process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations by phone, fax, or mail. You will identify guest needs, determine room types, verify availability and rates, and explain guarantees and policies to callers.

You will input and access data in the reservation system and document special requests with accuracy. Based at JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, the role supports Reservation Operations for Le Méridien Al Aqah Beach Resort in Fujairah and Al Maha,

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
• Identify guest reservation needs and determine appropriate room type.
• Verify availability of room type and rate.
• Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers.
• Input and access data in reservation system.
• Handle special requests and questions about facilities/services and room accommodations.
• Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue.
• Follow company policies and procedures; maintain confidentiality and protect assets.
