Job summary

Park Hyatt Dubai is seeking a Reservation Agent fluent in German or French and English to manage accommodation reservations and guest inquiries with a personalized, high‑touch approach.

You will collaborate with Front Office, Revenue Management and Sales to maximize occupancy and revenue, maintain accurate guest profiles, and ensure seamless booking processes in a fast‑paced luxury environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years in Reservations/Front Office/Guest Services or similar in luxury hotel environment.
• Fluency in German and English or French and English with excellent communication skills.
• Strong understanding of reservation operations, room inventory, and luxury hospitality standards.

Responsibilities

• Handle reservation requests via telephone, email, online platforms and other channels in a professional, timely manner.
• Provide accurate information on room categories, rates, packages, facilities, and guest experiences.
• Process, amend, and cancel reservations while ensuring accuracy of profiles and booking details.
• Deliver personalized service in German/French and English; assist with inquiries and special requests.
• Maximize revenue through upselling and promotion of rooms and hotel services.
• Maintain knowledge of promotions, policies, loyalty programs, and guest experiences for informed recommendations.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Sales, Revenue Management and other departments for seamless handling of reservations.
• Monitor availability, booking pace, market demand, and reservation trends to support occupancy and revenue goals.
• Ensure reservation records and profiles are updated accurately in the PMS; handle FIT, corporate, group, and travel trade requests.
• Respond promptly to guest feedback and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information and compliance with data protection requirements.
• Prepare reservation reports, forecasts, occupancy updates, and other admin docs as required.
• Support departmental goals with productivity, service excellence, accuracy, and guest satisfaction.
