Job summary

Fairmont The Palm in Dubai is seeking a professional Telephone Operator to deliver consistent, high-quality guest service. You will handle external and internal calls, manage wake-up requests, and coordinate with Housekeeping, Front Office, and Engineering to meet guest needs.

You must be fluent in Arabic and English, with prior telephone operator experience. Strong communication, problem-solving, and effective multitasking are essential in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Arabic is required (speaking and writing).
• Experience as a Telephone Operator is required.
• Outstanding guest service and verbal communication skills.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Windows; Opera PMS is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, problem solving, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English; secondary language preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and emails promptly and courteously.
• Take ownership of guest requests and follow up per hotel standards.
• Provide information across departments, especially Housekeeping, Front Office and Engineering.
• Maintain and use the Royal Service system and related software.
• Dispatch requests to the correct department and update work orders.
