Job summary

SLS Dubai Hotel & Residences in Downtown Dubai is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage leader to oversee daily restaurant operations, lead and motivate the team, and ensure exceptional guest service. You will coordinate with kitchen, bar and F&B management to deliver seamless service and drive revenue.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of senior F&B management experience, strong English communication, and a solid understanding of HACCP and health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree in Business, Hospitality or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years’ experience in Food and Beverage operation with senior F&B management experience.
• Licenses or certificates: ability to obtain government licenses or permits.
• Knowledge of Food and Beverage preparation techniques, health department rules and liquor laws.
• 1–2 years in a public contact position, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel.
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain attention to detail.
• Maintain positive relationships with employees and departments.
• Ability to work independently and in teams to promote teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Lead, train and motivate the team while maintaining high hotel service standards.
• Provide and promote exceptional guest experience and effectively handle guest feedback.
• Conduct pre-shift and post-shift briefings and communicate priorities and targets.
• Monitor sales upselling and outlet performance.
• Support menu development, promotions, activations to drive revenue.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and implement improvements based on feedback and reviews.
• Manage stock, inventories, wastage and variances to support profitability.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and restaurant presentations.
• Coordinate with kitchen, bar and F&B management team.
• Manage staff scheduling, attendance and daily manpower requirements.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, HACCP, health and safety and brand standards.
