Job summary

Sheraton Dubai is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to supervise daily restaurant operations across outlets, including room service where applicable. You will support menu planning, ensure sanitation standards, and guide servers and hosts during peak periods to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The role emphasizes staff development, adherence to liquor laws, cost control, and maintaining high service standards while achieving financial objectives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years in F&B or related area.
• 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel/Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with 2 years F&B experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and manages daily restaurant operations; assists with menu planning.
• Maintains sanitation standards across restaurant, bar/lounge, and room service areas.
• Reviews staffing levels to meet guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives.
• Provides leadership, mentors staff, and coaches team members to improve skills.
• Ensures compliance with food/beverage policies and liquor laws; trains staff accordingly.
• Handles guest problems and feedback to improve service quality and guest satisfaction.
• Oversees purchasing and invoices; manages department financials.
